Just got off the phone after doing an interview with Utah NHL owner Ryan Smith and he said the updated total is now at just over 20,000 season-ticket deposits.

Been told of the 20,000 ticket deposits so far for the new Utah NHL team less than 10 percent have been made by Jazz season ticket holders. To give you an idea what market reach has been like early.

The Utah team could've sold 100 season-ticket packages in three years and it still would've been better for the NHL than keeping Alex Meruelo in the fold. This guy is just completely unserious.
